Proud of his Croatian roots and his adopted home of Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue, Peter Capkun founded Groupe Promec in 1987. A seasoned entrepreneur whose reputation extends well beyond regional borders, Mr. Capkun remains actively involved in the company\u2019s growth and strategic direction as President and Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n

Since its inception, Groupe Promec has developed specialized expertise across multiple sectors, including mining, petrochemicals, metallurgy, forestry, pulp and paper, utilities and hydroelectric power.
